About Martyna
Hi, I’m Martyna, a qualified primary teacher with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education from the University of Strathclyde. I have experience teaching in primary schools and providing online tutoring, alongside supporting children with high additional support needs.
I enjoy helping children gain confidence and discover what they can achieve. My approach is patient, encouraging and professional, creating a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
I recognise that every child learns differently and take time to understand their strengths and the areas they find challenging. I am fluent in English and Polish and value clear communication with families so we can work together to support each child’s progress.

My lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to each child’s needs. I use clear explanations, interactive activities and guided practice to build understanding and confidence. I check progress throughout each lesson, adapting the pace and approach so children feel supported while developing their independence.
I offer support with primary-level literacy and numeracy, including reading, writing and maths. Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, with shorter sessions available to suit younger children or those who benefit from a more focused lesson.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Primary Education from the University of Strathclyde and have experience as a primary school teacher and as an online tutor. I have also taught children with high additional support needs in a specialised learning environment.
My lessons are suitable for primary-aged children who need help with schoolwork, want to strengthen particular skills or would benefit from extra encouragement. I am fluent in English and Polish and can support communication in either language.
