About Rebecca

I am a qualified Montessori Primary School Teacher with five years of classroom teaching experience and a BA (Hons) in Montessori Primary Education.

My Montessori background has really shaped the way I approach teaching. I believe every child learns differently, and that understanding their individual strengths, interests and abilities is key to helping them succeed. I’m passionate about making learning enjoyable, encouraging curiosity and helping children develop confidence in themselves.

Over the years, I’ve worked with children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, including those learning English as an Additional Language (EAL). This experience has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement and finding different ways to explain things when something isn’t quite clicking.

One of the things I enjoy most about teaching is seeing children gain confidence in something they previously found difficult. Whether it’s helping with homework, working through challenging topics or simply providing a little extra encouragement, my goal is to help every child feel supported, capable and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make learning enjoyable, engaging and confidence-building, with each session tailored to your child’s individual needs, abilities and interests.

I am a qualified Montessori Primary School Teacher with a BA (Hons) in Montessori Primary Education and five years of classroom teaching experience.

I offer personalised tutoring from Junior Infants through to Sixth Class, covering English, maths, phonics, reading, writing, spelling and other areas of the primary school curriculum.

Drawing on my Montessori background, I incorporate hands-on activities, practical materials, educational games and interactive learning to make concepts easier to understand and learning more meaningful.

Each lesson lasts 60 minutes and is structured around your child’s individual learning goals. I begin by identifying their strengths and areas requiring support, adapting activities and teaching methods as they progress.

I also have extensive experience supporting children learning English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Above all, my aim is to help children develop confidence, independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
