About Elizabeth
I have a Honours degree in Animal Science and a Graduate Certificate of Secondary Education. I have taught class sizes up to 30 in biology, chemistry and physics, and am fully familiar with the Australian Curriculum for these subjects. I also have taught piano to beginners.

My teaching style is underpinned by the concept of a "relational classroom" where the the student feels comfortable in taking academic risks and making their voice heard. I want my students to understand that I am there to help them, not to judge them or ‘force’ them to learn. My lesson planning is underpinned by the understanding that variety and authenticity of learning activities in instrumental in engaging students and allowing them do develop useful skills and knowledge.
