Professional writer and poet with PhD in creative writing offering lessons in Oxfordshire

I have known Aoife for some years now through some hard times and good. I have read many of Aoife's pieces and she has a magical way with words there is no other way to describe it. When you read her work you feel as if you are invading her private thoughts, I never realised that it was possible to put such emotion into written words, she is truly gifted. Aoife has a great sense of humour and outlook, she has really made me think about my opinions in life and given me a refreshing alternative viewpoint with no unwanted bias. I'd have no problem recommending her as a tutor, I'm sure she'd be a first class teacher. I'm quite sure that if she were to be your teacher your life would be enriched.

Anyone who has Aoife as a tutor is very fortunate. She led the poetry module of my MA course at the University of Westminster and I enjoyed every moment. Not only that, her poetry paints pictures and plays music!

I knew Aoife from a Workshop in Geneva. She is a delightful and motivating person with an infectious love of learning. She is well-read and can be relied upon to grasp the needs of a learner relative to his or her course. She is an organised and able communicator.

Aoife has led workshops for the group I chair and the resulting work has been unexpectedly inspired. Her style is relaxed and strongly focussed. As a trainer myself, I’m quite critical - but Aoife’s style was so exemplary that I couldn’t find anything to criticise!
