About Aurora

Singing becomes truly magical when voices blend together. As a vocal tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BA in Ethnomusicology (Vocal Traditions), I specialize in helping singers explore that magic through harmony and arrangement.

My passion is creating rich vocal textures—stacking harmonies and crafting arrangements that allow each voice to shine while supporting the whole. I love guiding students through the creative process of building layered vocal sound.

In lessons we explore A Capella, Pop, Gospel, and R&B styles. Students learn techniques for vocal blending, counter-melodies, and arranging harmonies for ensembles or recordings.

Creativity is at the heart of my teaching. Through improvisation and composition, singers develop confidence in their musical ideas.

I also incorporate music technology so students can experiment with recording, layering, and producing their own vocal arrangements.

I welcome school students, college learners, and aspiring professionals who want to grow as vocal artists. If harmony excites you as much as it excites me, I’d love to work with you.

About the lesson

My methodology focuses on developing a voice that is strong, flexible, and healthy. I believe singers should build technique that supports long-term vocal careers.

Lessons include breath control, tone shaping, pitch accuracy, and vocal stability. Students also learn harmony singing and arranging skills.

I spend time helping singers develop vocal stamina. This is important for performers who sing often or rehearse for long periods.

Managing vocal fatigue is another key lesson. Students learn how to recognize strain and adjust their approach to protect their voice.

Warm-ups before singing and recovery after singing are part of every lesson. These routines help the voice stay balanced and responsive.

For ensemble singers, we practice blending, balance, and musical listening.

I also guide students in healthy vocal habits such as hydration, rest, and mindful practice.

The goal is to help singers grow while keeping their voice safe and reliable.
