About Leila
I’m Leila, a textile designer and freelance art teacher based in Elgin, Moray.
I’ve taught all ages, including 1‑to‑1 SEN sessions in both classroom and event settings.
My lessons help learners feel confident and curious, balancing technical skill-building with creative experimentation.
Discovering how each student learns best is what fuels me as a teacher. I firmly believe that, no matter your current ability, everyone can create something to be proud of.

Lessons are bespoke: school support, project guidance, or fully planned projects where I handle the prep, blending technical skills, critical thinking and material knowledge together to build confidence and inspiration in learners.
