About Carlos M
I am a professional fine artist with over 30 years of experience in drawing, oil painting, sculpture, and traditional art techniques. My work focuses on realism, portraiture, anatomy, composition, and the study of classical methods used by great masters.
Throughout my career, I have worked as a painter, sculptor, illustrator, and professional art restorer, developing a deep understanding of materials, techniques, and visual storytelling.
I enjoy teaching students how to see like artists — understanding form, light, proportion, and color instead of simply copying images. My goal is to share the knowledge of traditional craftsmanship while helping each student develop their own creative voice and artistic confidence.

My lessons focus on developing strong artistic foundations through a traditional fine art approach. I teach drawing, oil painting, portraiture, composition, anatomy, color theory, light and shadow, and realistic techniques. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, whether beginner or advanced. My goal is to help students truly understand art, improve their observation skills, and develop confidence, creativity, and their own artistic voice.
