About Mark

My goal is to help students become passionate about learning and to help the passionate learners achieve ambitious goals they may have.

I believe failure can be celebrated as an opportunity to improve and learn something new.

As a professional data scientist and engineer, I love sharing my knowledge and experience and solving problems with others.

About the lesson

My goal is to bring out the critical thinker in my students through problem solving. My general approach is to build student confidence by providing them with the appropriate tools for problem solving, challenge them, and help them achieve mini-goals.

A typical lesson would first involve a discussion to understand the areas of improvement. We would then do a walk-through of the basic principles, example problems, and some fringe cases.

Currently I am teaching grades 1 to 8 but I am open to teaching high school math and science.
