About Mohammad

I have over 5 years of teaching which includes ESOL (UK) as well as ESL, teaching abroad, which was an amazing experience. I had produced lesson plans, created my own resources and adapted very well to the Saudi culture; I also learned a portion of the language too. The syllabus we went by was book based; reading, writing, listening and speaking were all taught.
Recently, I taught online to students from Saudi Arabia due to the pandemic. This had granted me even more wealth of experience in the online spectrum. I had gained a lot of insight into how online platforms operate which translated into a lot of experience in teaching online. I was teaching a class of up to 50 students via Blackboard and Zoom. This was challenging but I managed to handle it well as students were being engaged.

About the lesson

I base my teaching methodology on engagement and encouragement. Often students say they do not understand but I encourage them to try again before revealing the answer. Engagement is another one present in my teaching, I want my students to be engaged in whatever they are studying so that they will learn better and understand the subject better.
