About Ana
HI :)
My name is Ana Martínez, student of the Law Program at Universidad Simón Bolívar, Barranquilla. I am an active member, Elite category, of the research group of my university.
I have been an academic monitor for 4 years. I am part of the Academic Excellence Program and I offer accompaniment and support to the students of Universidad Simón Bolívar.
I started the degree program in foreign language at the Universidad del Atlántico, I studied English, French, and German (languages that I know in a basic way). I finished the English course as a free course at the same university about five years ago.
English is a very interesting language, it is not difficult to handle if we have a good disposition and desire to learn, the most important thing is to practice with a good attitude and regularity. I like to work with visual aids such as slides and practice with exercises that allow me to handle grammar. I also like to work with readings, this way we increase our vocabulary.
The classes are handled from different moments, the first moment of review to remember what was worked in the previous class; a moment for the practice of grammar, initially an explanation of the different grammatical structures and development of exercises; a third moment for the development of reading exercises, so we can work the ability of reading comprehension and acquire a wide vocabulary; and finally a space to talk about a specific topic, so we can improve the ability to speak.
