About Prithika

Hi! I’m Prithika, a 4th-year medical student at the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland. I’ve lived in several countries and graduated from the United Nations International School in Vietnam, which has given me a global perspective and experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.

I have informal teaching experience tutoring younger students in high school through a student support club, as well as helping juniors at my university with exam preparation. Additionally, I’m a board member of my university’s Plastic Surgery Club, where I guide and teach students interested in this field.

I teach biology from middle school to high school level, including IB Biology, and I also support students in medical subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, and pathology. My lessons are interactive, structured, and focused on true understanding rather than memorization. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable explanations, and I create study resources such as Anki decks, summaries, and practice exercises to help students learn effectively.

I’m passionate about helping students feel confident and motivated in their studies. I take pride in being patient, approachable, and professional, and I’m committed to tailoring my lessons to each student’s needs so that learning becomes both effective and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My teaching style is supportive, interactive, and focused on real understanding rather than memorization. As a medical student, I know how overwhelming biology and medical subjects can feel at times, so I try to make lessons clear, structured, and as stress-free as possible. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

In our lessons, I usually start by figuring out what you already know and what you find difficult. From there, I break down complex topics into simple explanations using examples, diagrams, and active recall techniques. I also like to include practice questions during the lesson so you can apply what you’ve learned and feel more confident right away.

A typical session might include a quick review, a step-by-step explanation of the topic, active self-testing, and a short plan for what to focus on after class. I often share study resources such as Anki-style flashcards, summaries, and strategies that have helped me throughout medical school.

What sets me apart is that I combine strong subject knowledge with practical study methods that make learning more efficient and less overwhelming. I’m continuously learning too, and I genuinely enjoy helping others find study approaches that work best for them.

My lessons are for middle school and high school biology students (including IB Biology), as well as students who need support with medical subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, and pathology. My goal is to help you build confidence, understand concepts deeply, and actually enjoy the learning process.
