I have known Edward since we were classmates in high school. Aside from his academic excellence, he also enjoys teaching and helping others succeed. He has always been very helpful with breaking down complex problems into smaller parts and guiding others to reach the correct answer. However, in the process he also attempts to help his mentee think about the process and all given facts rather than just provide the answer, which does not help with developing critical thinking skills. Furthermore, he has a great level of patience and is willing to spend his personal time to help other students to succeed, even when he was busy. This dedication and level of empathy helped him build a strong reputation among his peers ever since.
