About Yasmin
I am a friendly, patient and approachable tutor who enjoys helping children learn and develop their confidence. I understand that every child learns differently, so I aim to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I am reliable, organised and committed to making lessons enjoyable while still keeping them focused and productive. My goal is not only to help children improve academically, but also to help them feel more confident in their own abilities.

I aim to make lessons friendly, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I like to break topics down into simple steps and use examples, questions and activities to help children understand rather than simply memorise. I also encourage children to ask questions and build confidence in areas they may find difficult.
Lessons can typically be around 45–60 minutes, depending on the child’s age, concentration and learning needs. I can provide support with primary-school Maths and English, including homework, revision and preparation for assessments.
My lessons are aimed at primary-school children, and I am happy to adapt the pace and level of work depending on each child’s current ability and goals.
