About Anne-Marie
Hello!
My name is Anne Marie and I am currently living in Cork, Ireland. Over the next few months, I cannot wait to meet you and learn all about you and your families. But first, let me tell you a little bit about myself!
My favourite subjects in school were Maths and PE. With my classes, my favourite things to do are free writing, Maths games, art and singing songs! What do you like most about school?
When I’m not teaching, I love exercising and baking. My favourite TV show is the ‘Great British Bake-Off’ and I love reading, especially anything by Roald Dahl. You will often find me smiling, drinking tea, and trying to solve my Rubik’s Cube! I grew up on a farm, so I love the outdoors and animals. Above all, my favourite thing is playing with my dog Caspar. I cannot wait to hear if you have any pets or hobbies!
My wish for all my students is that their experience with me is exciting, joyful and nurturing. No matter what, my lessons are always will be focused on new friends, learning and a lot of fun.

Primary school teacher with experience teaching children (5-12 years) in Ireland. I have experience teaching children with a range of educational needs, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism and ADHD. I have the ability to customise my lessons to make them fun, entertaining and educational to ensure they are reaching the child’s specific needs. My areas of special interest include teaching children to improve their reading, writing and spelling in English. In the past, I have provided maths grinds for children under 12 in Ireland. As a native English speaker I have experience teaching children English as a foreign language. I have spent summers in Spain helping students prepare for their Cambridge English Exams.
