About Heta
I myself am passionate about the English language. As a first generation New Zealand immigrant child who learned English as a second language, I can understand the importance of learning proper grammar and pronunciation and how it impacts the use of language in a child's future. I have ample experience working with young children and am able to gauge how they learn best. I allow students to work at their own pace and let them tell me what works for them and what doesn't while still adhering to the proper curriculum for their level. I have studied English from primary level all the way through to University level creative writing so I am confident in my ability to teach English all the while making it fun and interactive.

In this class you will be able to practice grammar, literacy and pronunciation. I allow the students to guide the lesson by using their strengths to their advantage and excel in their verbal and written skills. I pay attention to the child's individual needs and use my experience to cater the syllabus to their requirements. I have 12 years of experience working with kids aged 3-14 years and have worked with kids of varying learning levels and backgrounds.
