About Peige

Hello! I am an early childhood educator and experienced tutor who loves helping students discover their confidence in learning. I specialize in math, science, and literacy for students from PreK through high school, creating a supportive space where learning feels achievable and rewarding.
Having guided young learners in structured classroom environments as well as through one-on-one private instruction, I understand that no two students learn the exact same way. I have extensive experience working with students who have ASD, ADHD, and other learning differences, as well as students who struggle with motivation, focus, or low academic self-esteem.
My background in early education has taught me the value of deep patience, clear communication, and visual, adaptable learning strategies. When working with elementary and younger learners, I focus on building core reading, phonics, and math foundations that make school feel fun rather than overwhelming. For older students in middle and high school math and science, I focus on breaking down complex formulas and concepts into simple, step-by-step methods that make homework and test prep far less stressful.
My goal in every session is simple: to meet your student right where they are, celebrate their unique progress, and rebuild their self-belief so they gain the tools and confidence to succeed independently.

About the lesson

My tutoring sessions are fully customized to match your student's unique learning pace, strengths, and goals. Whether we are building foundational skills, breaking down challenging homework, or boosting classroom confidence, I focus on making concepts clear, approachable, and engaging.
How I Structure Our Sessions:
Warm-Up & Check-In (5–10 mins): We review previous material or current homework to gauge understanding and answer any quick questions.
Core Skill Focus (25–30 mins): We dive into the targeted subject using step-by-step guidance, visual breakdowns, and interactive exercises to make tricky concepts easy to grasp.
Independent Practice & Application (10–15 mins): Your student applies what they learned on their own while I offer immediate support and encouragement.
Wrap-Up & Goal Setting (5 mins): We summarize key takeaways and outline simple next steps for practice before our next meeting.
My Teaching Style & Methodology:
Patient & Encouraging: I create a positive, low-stress environment where asking questions and making mistakes are viewed as essential parts of learning.
Adaptable & Visual: I break complex topics down into clear, manageable steps using real-world examples, visual aids, and tailored strategies.
Structured Progress: I track where your student excels and where they need extra support, ensuring every session delivers clear growth and confidence.
