About Madeline

I am a senior Neuroscience and Behavior student at the University of Notre Dame with plans to attend medical school next fall. With all four of my grandparents being retired professors/teachers, education has been instilled within me as a core value from a young age. Lifelong learning is a passion of mine. Outside of academics, I love trying new types of coffee, running, spending time with friends, and being outside.

About the lesson

Provides personalized support and guidance to fit gaps of knowledge or strategy for students. As a student myself, I understand how overwhelming mastering certain concepts and coming up with a plan can be. With my own experience and insight, I meet students where they are at in their learning, working with them to determine their style of learning and provide lectures, note outlines, and practice problems accordingly. Outside of tutoring sessions, I provide review videos and practice assignments for extra clarification and solidification of knowledge. Navigating the STEM field as a female, I am also passionate in providing mentorship and encouragement for younger girls in the field. I have ample experience working with younger children so my focus is for middle school to high school students but as an admitted medical student, I am also happy to provide guidance for balancing non-academic and academic expectations for prospective college students on the pre-medical track.
