About Alexis

I am a particularly passinoate person who seldom backs down from a challenge.
I enjoy maths and science, and I am grateful that they come easily to me. I use this ability to help others achieve their full potential.
I was once the student at varsity who was battling with maths, and I nearly failed too, but with the right help, I was able to achieve that which was required of me, and get my degree.
I would like to provide the same level of support to current students who may be struggling and just need a little extra input to be able to achieve their goals, and graduate in as little time as possible.

About the lesson

I am a practicing Engineer who has been tutoring Maths (and other subjects) for 6 years.
I am passionate about helping students achieve their full potential, and help them become independent from me.
I teach online and lessons include theory and explanation of the topic being covered, as well as extensive exercises on the topic to ensure that students have a good grasp of the practical application of their knowledge.
The Google Classroom has an interactive whiteboard, so that I can see in real time the work that the student is doing, and correct as we go. These whiteboards are still available after the lesson for revision purposes.
Please note, the onus is on the student to put in the required time and effort for studying, and I provide an additional support role to fill in knowledge gaps and provide extra practice.
