About Justin
I have always believed in the classical techniques of the old masters, especially Renaissance and Baroque. These artists were the epitome of light, color, shading and proportions, and I thoroughly believe there is a lot to be learned from them. I was classically trained and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an Art History minor. Learning these fundamentals will ultimately shape your artwork into a skill that you can be confident about.

Do you enjoy drawing or painting, but nothing seems to ever look correct? Basic drawing techniques can help artists at pretty much any skill level. I enjoy teaching fundamentals of drawing because it is the foundation of any great artist. The ability to make anything look correct is the most basic of skills necessary to turn heads. My approach focuses heavily on nailing proportions first, then moving onto shading, and then advance to more expressive techniques once the basics have been mastered.
