About Aidan
Hello! My name is Aidan, and I am a junior undergraduate student studying Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have excelled in my classes and conduct research in Cosmology funded by NASA. I am extremely passionate about my career in Physics and Mathematics and take care to learn as much as possible in each subject. I want to pass my enthusiasm to others, and hopefully, inspire the same passion that fuels me in my studies and career. As someone soon to enter PhD candidacy in Experimental Physics, I take teaching very seriously. Considering the structure of academia, my ability to teach is equally as important as my ability to do the physics. This is all to say that if you choose me as a tutor, you are getting someone who is very passionate about both the subject and the ability to teach it!

If you are an undergraduate student or below, and you need help with Physics or Math, you've come to the right place! I've had experience as a TA at a collegiate level and have taken pride in a comprehensive understanding of the subjects. A typical lesson plan will first have my students thoroughly read and understand the theory before anything else. Once the student has demonstrated an understanding of the theory of a chosen subject, we will start to solve problems (either provided, or I will provide them). After students have solved a few problems with my assistance, I will encourage them to solve problems on their own and review the solutions directly afterwards. I have found that this is typically the best way to learn physics or math for students of any level; however, I will always adapt my teaching style for each unique student.
