My approach to tutoring is student-centred, structured, and supportive. I believe that every learner understands material differently, so I adapt my teaching to match each student’s pace, goals, and preferred learning style. Lessons are interactive and focused on building confidence as well as mastery of the subject.
I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, using guided practice, real examples, and targeted exercises. I encourage questions and active participation, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting lessons as needed. I emphasise understanding why something works, not just memorisation.
Typical lessons are 60 minutes, which allows enough time for explanation, practice, and review. Shorter (30–45 min) or longer sessions are available depending on student needs.
I am a competent tutor, with 1.5 years of experience tutoring all ages up to and including GCSEs.
Proven track record of helping students improve grades, test scores, and confidence.
Patient, reliable, and skilled at explaining difficult concepts clearly.
Achieved 3 A* in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry A-level, and have gone on to study Physics and Astronomy at Durham University.
Achieved straight 9s in GCSE Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
