About Andrew

My name is Andrew Kadziolka.

I have been a student of philosophy for little over 11 years now. For as long as my memory serves, I have been questioning the nature of all things. What is the Self?
Do we have limits to our growth? What is the purpose of our existence?
What makes up reality? And how do we know that we know anything?

These are questions that have long been asked, and yet, no answer has ever been objectively offered. The true wealth lies in being able to ask the question honestly. It is through questions that we begin to analyze, through analysis we begin to see, and through seeing we begin to understand.

Understanding, is the beginning of knowing the limits of our knowledge:
This expand's our conception of reality. In doing so, we inevitably find the limits of that reality and where there is a lack of understanding, we find more questions.

This is the true purpose of philosophy, not to find answers, or knowledge, but to seek to ask better questions. For it is through these questions that we are able to forge knowledge into perspective, combined with lived experience we attain wisdom. This is the alchemical formula for: The Philosopher's Stone.

Eventually, as we become more adept at this process, we no longer find ourselves at the mercy of external forces. We attain sovereignty of our minds, our emotions, we learn how to transmute our experiences into wisdom, we see the patterns that play out upon our species and can then choose whether we wish to participate, instead of being swept away with the tides.

This has long been my seeking. If you believe it may be of benefit to you, whether academically, mentally, logically or even spiritually; then I welcome the opportunity for you to investigate these all pervading mysteries alongside me.

My teaching style is rather organic, I prefer direct conversations to pre structured lectures, paired with active note taking, and some light reading ( though not necessary ).
I would rather get a sense, not only of what it is you wish to learn - but where your current understandings of certain philosophical topics are.

Above all, I would like to plant the seeds of critical thought. We will be analyzing the mechanisms of critical thought through the day to day, whether news cycles, media, political atmospheres, or actual philosophical works. All catered to whatever level of depth you are comfortable with.

If humanity is to progress without the cost of devouring itself; critical thought, as it relates to - the common reality, objective reality, and the subjective reality, is an essential facet of our nature to understand, harness and refine. We as a species possess the gift of reason, yet we do not systematically seek to expand this reason within the confines of our education system.

We will also be analyzing the ethical crossroads of our current times, as it relates to technology, political ethos, economics & micro/macro cultures.

The lessons are yours to learn, yours to choose. I am just a guide who can help light the path, ultimately it is you who will decide what lessons are learned.

I have studied both Western & Eastern Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Economics & Political Science.
