About David

I am Dr David de Lorenzo, a professional scientist with a PhD in Science and over 20 years of teaching and mentoring experience. I am currently a Data Scientist at University College London (UCL), where I work combining data science, machine learning, and biostatistics to optimise clinical decision-making and improve health outcomes.

Over the years, I have held academic positions at renowned institutions and taught mathematics, statistics, genetics, and molecular biology to students of various levels, from undergraduates to professionals in academia and industry. My professional background in data science and biostatistics enables me to bring practical, real-world insights into my lessons, helping students connect theory to application.
