About Simge
Hello, I'm Simge!
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Victoria, with a strong background in mathematics education, interdisciplinary learning design, and educational research.
My journey in education includes serving as a University Teaching Assistant, working as a certified IB Diploma Programme Mathematics Teacher, and tutoring students across various levels. Over the years, I have helped middle school, high school, and undergraduate students build confidence in mathematics and achieve their academic goals—whether mastering daily coursework or scoring high on standardized exams like IB, AP Calculus, SAT, and university entrance tests.
What drives my teaching is a passion for making mathematics accessible, engaging, and meaningful.
