About Mahmoud

My name is Mahmoud Donia. I hold a BPharm and PharmD from Tanta University, Egypt, and an MSc in Health Informatics from Swansea University, UK.

I previously worked as an inpatient pharmacist at Dar Al Fouad Hospital in Cairo, supporting medication management and working with healthcare teams. I currently work as a Pharmacy Assistant in Distribution at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust.

I enjoy explaining how medicines work and helping students connect pharmaceutical knowledge with practical clinical examples. Having studied and worked across Egypt and the UK, I can support learning in both English and Arabic. My goal is to create a patient, supportive environment where you can ask questions, strengthen your understanding and build confidence in your studies.

I offer personalised Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy lessons in English or Arabic for university students and adult learners. My aim is to make complex topics easier to understand and connect drug mechanisms with their clinical applications.

Lessons can cover mechanisms of action, indications, adverse effects, interactions, pharmaceutical calculations and clinical case discussions. I use clear explanations, diagrams, worked examples and practice questions, adapting each session to your syllabus and learning goals.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. We start by identifying your priorities, work through the topic step by step, and finish with a short recap and questions to check understanding. My approach draws on my BPharm and PharmD qualifications, previous inpatient pharmacy experience in Egypt and current NHS pharmacy assistant role.
