About Jon-Bonnette

I have a degree in Drama & English Literature from the University of Winchester and a PGCE in secondary English from the University of Reading. I am a young teacher located in Devon with a passion for all things English, Drama and learning. I take a metacognitive approach to teaching so students can be more engaged with all aspects of their learning.

My extensive experience has been proven to boost exam/assessment outcomes significantly. Students feedback also shows that students feel more confident in the classroom and during exams.

About the lesson

Extensive coverage of all exam criteria, good practice for independent revision, essay feedback and metacognitive practices to help them remember content correctly. GCSE lessons include; Language Paper 1 & 2, Literature modern texts: Curious Incident, Inspector Calls, Lord of the Flies and Animal Farm, Literature unseen poetry and Power and Conflict, Literature 19th Century A Christmas Carol and Literature Shakespeare Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet.
A-Level lessons include good essay writing practices, creative writing lessons and a high quality feedback cycle.
