About Avery

I am a graduate from NYU. I am working as a professional dancer and certified 200-hour yoga teacher. I currently reside in New York but am originally from Chicago. I love meeting new friends. I am excited to work with clients one on one. I have been practicing yoga since I was 12. My dad would always bring me with him to Bikram hot yoga after school and then I eventually fell in love with the practice and it is still a way that we bond together. As a dancer who is extremely active, I find yoga to benefit my mind and body in ways that are beyond explanation. It really grounds me and restores my muscles when I feel fatigued. As someone who is naturally anxious and excited, yoga has been my guide towards learning how to cope and making me feel safe no matter what I am doing. It is truly a practice that is endless and limitless—and a true gift to be able to share with people.

About the lesson

I am willing to work with the personal needs of my students.

I have experience in trauma informed healing practices, hatha yoga, and prenatal. I offer hands on therapy and specialize practice depending on the needs of the client. I am available mostly in the evenings but I can also work around my students schedules.
