About Olivia

I completed my master’s in mathematics at Berkeley and spent three years as a graduate instructor. My specialty is making abstract ideas—like epsilon-delta proofs—feel logical and even intuitive. I’ll draw dynamic graphs on a tablet so you can see how functions behave or how probabilities converge. Over six years of tutoring, I’ve refined techniques that help students build both computational fluency and rigorous proof skills.

About the lesson

Each lesson begins by revisiting prerequisite concepts—such as set theory or probability basics—using clear, annotated examples. We then tackle one new topic per session—like hypothesis testing, eigenvector computations, or epsilon-delta proofs—through step-by-step walkthroughs. Interactive visual aids (dynamic graphs, geometric constructions) help demystify abstract ideas. Homework includes a mix of computational practice and proof-oriented problems. Ideal for high school honors math, AP Statistics, or undergraduate mathematics.
