About Karina
Hi, I’m a first-year Law student with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students build confidence in Maths. Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I understand the pressure students face and how important clear, supportive guidance can be.
Alongside my studies, I have experience coaching and supporting students within school settings during university, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. This experience has helped me develop a patient and encouraging teaching approach.
I’m organised, approachable and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students develop confidence and independent problem-solving skills that will benefit them long-term.

My lessons are structured, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by identifying areas of weakness and understanding the student’s current level, so we can create a clear plan to improve both confidence and grades.
Each session includes step-by-step explanations, worked examples and guided practice questions to ensure students fully understand the topic before moving on. I also place a strong focus on exam technique, helping students recognise common question types and avoid simple mistakes.
Lessons are held online in a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I provide regular feedback and set optional practice tasks to reinforce learning between sessions.
Whether a student is aiming to secure a pass or achieve a higher grade, I adapt lessons to match their goals and pace.
