About Jeremy

- I have 4 years of experience as a tutor.
- From 2017 to 2019, and subsequently since the beginning of 2024, most of my students in Singapore had an average improvement of half a letter grade within a semester in English, Math and Science. From 2023 to 2024, most of my students in the United States improved by a GPA score of 0.5, which is a 5% improvement on average. I had a few students who couldn’t even speak a word of English, and could barely recite the alphabet, but within a month, they could spell and pronounce many words of their grade level.
- I would tailor the lesson according to the student’s needs and abilities.
- I have been teaching primary school and secondary school kids in Singapore, and elementary school and middle school kids in the United States since 2023, both in person and online. Previously, I tutored primary and secondary school kids in Singapore between 2017 to 2019 before I went to medical school.
- I do you have experience tutoring online, in fact I prefer it. So far I have used only Zoom.

About the lesson

I don’t believe in spoon-feeding the answers, nor do I think that teaching to the test is effective. My approach to making the student comprehend the material is by synthesising concepts into understandable portions, and after the student has grasped them, only then would we move to solving the problems.
