About Josefa
I am a patient and encouraging bilingual instructor who enjoys helping students express themselves creatively. I believe art should be approachable, enjoyable, and adapted to the individual rather than taught through one rigid method.
I work with children and adults in English or Spanish, providing clear demonstrations and personal guidance throughout each activity. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable trying new ideas, learning from mistakes, and developing confidence in their artistic abilities.
I especially enjoy helping beginners discover that creativity can be developed through observation, practice, curiosity, and encouragement.

My beginner art classes help students develop creativity while learning practical artistic foundations. Lessons may include drawing, line, shape, proportion, color, composition, observation, and simple projects selected according to each student’s age, interests, and abilities.
A typical lesson introduces a technique, demonstrates how to use it, and guides the student through a creative project. I encourage experimentation while providing clear, supportive instruction that helps students improve without feeling pressured.
Classes are designed for children and adults who want an enjoyable introduction to art or a structured way to practice their skills. Instruction is available in English or Spanish, in person in Miami or online. Students receive guidance on any basic materials needed before each project.
