About Francheska

When I was around 8 years old, I once asked my mother if my tutor lessons after school were worth it. Considering the fact that I was aware that I was quite a mischievous little girl that wasn’t entirely a big fan of education back then and just wanted to play with my friends, she told me that “gaining knowledge is like gold in the real world, once you have a lot of it you can give your knowledge to others in exchange for gold where you can buy more time to play with your friends and family” there and then, with my little brain that’s still confused of the concept, I started taking gradually take my education seriously and actually wanted to go to my tutor sessions so I could have more time with my friends. Ironically enough, I enjoyed my sessions with my tutors they had different approaches to teaching which really kept me engaged and I actually built a great friendship and gained trust which allowed my curiosity and knowledge to flourish to the best of my abilities. Time flew by every day with them and although I had an hour or so less of play time with my friends, I knew that once I grew up I’d have as much time as I want with them. After doing tutor sessions up to my GCSEs, I decided to also do a couple tutor sessions myself during my A-Levels for other students, I have been able to save up with that job and am now able to go travelling with my best friends and with all the time I could ask for during this academic gap year. I enjoy tutoring as I truly believe that it gives greater opportunities not just academically but for life in general. Everyone deserves to be in my position where I have been given offers to all 5 of my university choices with my 3 Alevels at AAB. Stress free, excited to learn and to share my knowledge everyday. And it all stated with a little silly question to my mother, are tutors really worth it?

About the lesson

I just graduated from my Alevels last year with an achievement of A in Geography. I’m excited to share my knowledge and passion in all aspects of the subject and looking forward to studying furthermore at University when I finish my gap year by September. Since I’m also a student myself, I have true understanding of the hardwork and dedication it takes to reach my targets in education. Therefore, during the spare time I have during this gap year, I have created different styles of learning approaches which can be tailored to your needs for you to maximise your knowledge and understanding of the subject to the best of your abilities :)
