About Stella

I’m an ambitious, and friendly artist with over 12 years of experience in drawing, illustration, and mixed media. Examples of my artwork can be found on @faeriecurse on instagram. Art has always been a big part of my life from experimenting with materials as a child to refining my skills through school and entering competitions. I am currently ranked within the top 3 students at my school for Visual Arts in Year 12, and throughout my schooling, I entered and won multiple art competitions, which helped me grow both technically and creatively. I now enjoy helping others find their own voice in art, whether they’re just starting out or working towards high school assessments and Body of Work projects.

For Ages: K–12
Lesson Length: 1–1.5 hours (flexible)
Experience: 12+ years in art, award-winning artist, Band 6/A-Level Visual Arts (Yr 11 & Yr 12)
What I Teach:
Lessons are tailored to each student’s skill level and goals. I offer help with both practical artmaking and theory work for school or personal growth.

Artmaking Skills:
Drawing (realism, stylization, cartooning), Anatomy & figure drawing, Painting (acrylic, digital), Appropriation & personal expression, Developing a unique style, Mixed media exploration --- Visual Arts Theory (for Years 7–12): Understanding and applying the Frames, Analyzing artworks using Conceptual & Material Practice, Writing stronger responses for Visual Arts assessments, Body of Work planning & development

Lesson Breakdown: Typically 1-2 hours, flexible depending on needs & strengths of the student.
1. Warm-up – Quick sketch or creative challenge
2. Main Art Task – Practical work based on focus (drawing, painting, etc.)
3. Theory Help (if needed) – Learn how to analyze and write about art
4. Feedback & Goal Setting – Encouraging progress & setting next steps
