About Marilyn
I began my quest for a healthy lifestyle in 2015. Having tried all sorts of dietary and fitness trends (which made me feel malnourished and sore), I began to look for a more sustainable lifestyle. A lawyer by qualification, I always had a strong inclination to become a yoga teacher. I finally gave in to the voice in my head and signed up for a 200 hour yoga teacher training course in October 2020. After completing my course and reading about the yogic philosophy, I began to teach yoga online. Today, I can happily say that I found the sustainable lifestyle that I was looking for. I don't follow any diet trends nor do I overdo my workouts. Yoga has helped me find a balance in my life and I would love to share my journey and learnings with those who would like to learn more about this beautiful practise.

Each yoga class is structured based on the students requirement. If you are a person who would love to begin their yoga journey or get an introduction to yoga, that is something I can help with too.
For each yoga class the basic structure will be:
^ Short meditation (breath awareness)
^ Pranayama
^ Warm up of all the muscles in the body (except for a yoga Nidra class)
^ Asana sequence (based on the requirement: Dynamic/gentle etc.)
^ Savasana + Chanting
