About Emanuel
I am eager to meet each student I work with. I like to bring a very relatable and enjoyable experience to the students I work with. I believe that connecting learning to the real world and making it enjoyable is a key strategy in helping students retain the information they are learning from both myself and their classroom teachers. My experience as a teacher allows me to also relate to students in relevant ways and help build social skills and confidence when engaging in school/tutoring work.

I provide tutoring for grades K-8th in mathematics. The lessons entail providing students with real world connections to the lessons, opportunities for gradual release (I do, We do, You do)for each concept being taught, and as a tutor I provide students the opportunity to learn from mistakes as opposed to fearing them. I also will always make sure that the lessons are relevant to the subject matter they are learning as well as reinforcing foundational skills in that subject as well.
