About Griselle

I was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1973. Self-taught, in 1998 I graduated from the Higher Institute of Art of Havana (ISA). From that moment I began to combine my career as an artist and curator. At the same time that I participated in several personal and collective exhibitions, I worked in important Cuban art centers (Center for the Development of Visual Arts, National Museum of Fine Arts, "La Acacia" Gallery), making professional collaborations with the Wifredo Lam Center and Hispano-American Center of Culture. For me, experience is important only if it does not stop your desire to continue discovering, experimenting and investigating. Anyone can develop their artistic qualities and obtain excellent results, they just need: be demanding with themselves, work hard and have a good guide.

About the lesson

My didactic model consists of personal development through Fine Arts. The idea that Art is a fundamental component of our humanity and the need to express ourselves through different specialties: painting, drawing and decorative arts (applied arts, design, etc.). This can be achieved by giving workshops in an unregulated way and inviting the development of creativity from pre-designed models or exercises in the "Art without failures" model, reducing the capacity for stress generated when teaching is directed in search of the final result, I prioritize personal development not reaching goals.
