About Asher

My name is Asher and I have a passion for teaching others. I know all too well, that the subjects covered in schools are difficult, and that teachers are not best equipped to cover tricky parts of the spec in detail and in a way that makes sense to YOU. There is no better feeling than that 'ah, I get it now'. Together we will have many of those on our journey to secure the very best grades!

About the lesson

I recently became the first in my family to go to university with an offer to study PPE at Oxford. As someone who didn't always achieve the highest grades at school, I know the importance of someone who is approachable and relatable, explaining things from the perspective of a student rather than a 'teacher'. I can offer online lessons using an immersive classroom environment and online whiteboard. Also offering in-person lessons in east London. I am offering my services as a tutor for children in years 6-11, to maximise SATs or GCSE results. As well as UCAS/personal statement mentoring for years 12s+13s, to give them the best possible chance of acceptance to their chosen universities. My rates are reasonable and competitive, and I offer both in-person and virtual lessons.

Asher has achieved top grades throughout his academic career, culminating thus far in an offer to study PPE at Oxford. He has always had the ability to simply explain complicated concepts.
His personable nature makes him approachable and easy to communicate with. For these reasons and many more I could list, I believe Asher would make a perfect tutor.

I’ve known Asher for years, stretching back to school, where he was constantly excelling in a competitive grammar school. He was a top student and had no hesitation in offering his help to underperforming students in a peer mentoring scheme. Overall, a very hardworking, intelligent and trustworthy tutor, so I would highly recommend.

Asher tutored my son in Maths and English during his final year at secondary school. It was clear his help made a difference as his grades went up, but what struck me, was how much my son enjoyed the process!
Would definitely recommend.
