About Ben
Hi, I’m Ben and I am a second-year physics undergraduate at the University of Oxford.
I offer tutoring services in both Mathematics and Physics up to A-Level. I also provide tuition for Oxbridge entrance exams (physical natural sciences, Cambridge and Oxford physics, the PAT) and interview preparation.
I have been tutoring for nearly five years. and my recent experience includes teaching students for A-Level mathematics and physics, successfully preparing a student for the 11+ examination (they gained a place a Wilson’s Grammar School), several students for GCSEs, and a primary school student for SATS.
I offer bespoke lessons, and I always ensure I plan content to suit the individual pupil’s needs. Having done examinations recently, I am very up-to-date with current specifications. I am always 100% dependable and reliable.

I attend Oxford University where most teaching is done in small group tutorial teaching, and this is something I aim to mimic in my lessons. Typically, we start by discussing in detail a topic. This is the period where your understanding of a topic improves, giving you an opportunity to write notes and to see exactly what the examiners want you to write.
Then we'd move on to trying to solve some relevant problems. I like to write most of my own problems as I can target specific skills which need to be worked on.
Finally, at the end of each session, I'd provide a homework sheet that I'd have written which I would collect and mark at the next session.
