About Esme

Hello! I am a tutor of 3+ years with a real love of teaching, now studying Psychology at the University of Sheffield.

Over the years, I have taught 10+ pupils whose parents have only given me positive feedback. I am so so proud of my tutees, who have exceeded entry requirements, reached top sets and (most importantly) seen a big boost in their confidence and a total change in their attitude toward school.

About the lesson

I work with pupils with numerous SEND needs and will tailor each lesson to best support your child. As a student myself, I understand the pressures of school and exams so teach as a friendly, supportive and understanding older peer rather than a traditional professional.

I highly recommend Esme as a tutor as she helped me improve my GCSE English grade by 2 levels through clear explanations and structured lessons. She quickly understood the root of the problem was with my understanding of the exam structure and exam technique and within a few months of consistent support, she really helped build my confidence in being able to structure and write effective answers.

Esme is an amazing tutor. She tutored my daughter for her maths SATs and her methods of explanation were great and well suited to her age.
