About Haroon

I'm a UK registered pharmacist, independent prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner with an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. I've worked in primary care for seven years, assessing and managing a wide range of acute and long-term conditions, alongside prescribing, medicines optimisation and chronic disease management.

Much of my work involves seeing patients with new symptoms, working through possible diagnoses and deciding on appropriate investigations and treatment.

I think there's a big difference between learning clinical knowledge and knowing how to apply it when you're actually sitting in front of a patient.

That's what interests me about tutoring. I'd like to help students bridge that gap, understand the reasoning behind clinical decisions and develop confidence in their own approach to patient care.

About the lesson

I offer one-to-one online tutoring for pharmacy students, trainee pharmacists, independent prescribing students, nursing and medical students, and trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs).

Sessions focus on OSCE preparation, consultation skills, clinical history taking, patient assessment, clinical reasoning, differential diagnosis, prescribing decisions and patient counselling.

I'm a UK registered pharmacist, independent prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner with 7 years of primary care experience.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes and tailored to your individual needs. We can practise simulated consultations, work through clinical cases, discuss assessment and management decisions, and identify areas for improvement.

Students are welcome to share their learning objectives or assessment requirements beforehand so lessons can be prepared accordingly.

My approach is practical and focused on developing confidence, structured consultations and safe clinical decision making.
