About Nick
I am a undergraduate currently studying in University of Sunderland with plans to continue doing my Master's Degree next year.
Back when I was a student, studying was not my strongest point as I found studying dull and boring which was until I met one particular tutor who changed my perspective about teaching in general. His lessons were not only interactive and fun, but throughout the three years I was with him, he made me feel like we were friends instead of the teacher-student relationship which made lessons enjoyable. While understandably most students deem studying as a 'boring thing to do', I hope to change the perception of studying as an activity that can be fun as well.
'What if my child is not academically gifted?' was a question I was often asked in Singapore when I was tutoring. The quote 'Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard' is something I strongly believe in as I myself have seen the fruition of hard work in my studies.

Lessons can be flexible in two ways:
1. Students/Parents can inform tutor on which specifics they want the tutor to teach (Eg: Solving algebraic equations).
- Alternatively, for students who might be weak in the subject, the tutor can offer a 'crash course' on what he/she has learnt in the past in school to build a good foundation
- Students who are strong in the subject/topic can also request to do questions set by the tutors to test their current knowledge
2. Tutor will follow the syllabus and what the student's school is currently teaching
- Eg: If the school is teaching a certain topic, the tutor will focus on that specific topic and follow the school's timeline
