About Bristol
Hi! My name is Bristol, and I offer online math tutoring for students who want extra help understanding math and building their confidence.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I explain problems step-by-step and use simple examples so students can understand not only how to get the answer, but why the answer works. I also adjust my teaching style based on each student's learning needs and pace.
A typical lesson starts with reviewing what the student already knows and identifying anything they are struggling with. Then, we work through examples together before practicing problems independently. I finish by reviewing the main concepts and making sure the student feels comfortable with what they learned.
What sets me apart is that I understand how frustrating math can be when a concept does not make sense right away. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning.
My lessons are designed for elementary, middle, and high school students who need help with math, homework, test preparation, or understanding difficult topics.
