About Mae
I am a Sociology student studying at the University of Birmingham, and have an A* in A-Level Sociology. I am also aspiring to become a qualified college/VI form teacher once I have graduated. Due to my aspirations, I have a passion for teaching and sharing my ever-evolving field with others, as well as aiding and encouraging students to achieve their own dreams by getting the best grades possible.

I tutor Sociology and Social Sciences for A-Level students (age 16-18), having an A* grade at Sociology A-Level myself. Lessons typically last about 50-60 minutes, where content from the A-Level syllabus is covered and explained, using many real world examples of theory where possible to help students gain wider knowledge of the field (which examiners love!). A heavy emphasis is placed on essay writing techniques that help students develop their own style and find their own voice, whilst preparing for their essay heavy exams.
