About Floss
Hi, I'm Floss, a 19 year-old based in Gloucestershire. I'm passionate about helping others understand Biology and gain confidence in themselves. The chaos and pressure of a school environment can be difficult for many students, so my aim is to provide knowledge and calm support to students from the comfort of their own home. I will work hard to ensure that students benefit from our sessions, whilst enjoying themselves as much as possible!

I'm a compassionate and enthusiastic tutor, who understands the trials of being a young student trying to balance everything. I'm accepting students from Years 7-11, and hope to give them the skills and confidence to excel at Biology.
My lessons will be student-led, so students can have 1:1 support on areas that matter to them. Lessons will be discussion based, with some instruction and questioning from me. I'm willing to adapt the length and approach of my lessons to suit individuals though!
I am friendly and non- judgemental- I want students to be able to ask any question without feeling stupid!
I achieved Grade 9s in all of my GCSE subjects (including all sciences and maths) and an A in both Biology and Chemistry at A-level.
Sessions can be from 30-90 minutes, depending on a student's needs and their schedule. £15/hour.
