About Valeriana
In the past, I've had plenty of other kids come to me for help, and with my assistance, have thrived in math. Of course, I can't help others if my math grade sucks, right? At all times, my grade in math is an A. I'm capable of tailoring myself to your needs as you need, while remaining professional and calm.

As a current 9th grader, I see tons of students every day struggling with one common factor: math. Some get it, most don't. I live by the strict rule that no kid should be left behind, regardless of comprehension speed or understanding of a topic. I only teach information I already fully comprehend, and with that information being fresh in practice, it's easier to recall and definitely more accurate. I can adapt to kids of all learning types and disabilities. Autistic kids and those with ADHD are welcomed! I teach anywhere from Algebra I, to pre-k levels, and any kid ages 15-3. My methods: ask the parents (for younger kids) what the main struggle is, review the topic for myself, ask the child what they don't understand, and pull problems from work specifically designed to target their main needs. For older kids, I would ask for extra examples of what they need help on, review the topic, ask what they don't understand, do practice problems, and after the child feels okay with the topic, allow time for independent work problems.
