About Archana

I struggled with the 'core' subjects myself during school, and having a tutor made me much more confident in these subjects. So much so that I CHOSE to do Maths, Biology, Chemistry and English at A-Level! I enjoy teaching and giving another student the confidence to excel in subjects they previously thought they just weren't good at. Having been a tutor for over a decade, I work with each student to see what the best learning approach is for them individually, which is something they often get missed in a school environment.

About the lesson

- Lessons will include a hybrid approach of providing resources/materials and then applying knowledge in exam-style questions - Encourage students to 'do the teaching' - see if they can explain the concept back as if they were a teacher - Experience offering 1-to-1 lessons, but also group sessions - Experience of teaching a range of ages, from Key Stage 2 up to A-Levels

From the first session Archana was warm and embracing. Both my daughters, YR 7 and 9 have heavily relied on her maths/english/science tutoring to see them through their exams and their confidence has jumped.
