About Naila
Hi! I’m Naila, an incoming neuroscience major with a strong foundation in high school and AP Biology. I’ve spent the past few years not just learning biology at a high level, but also helping my peers truly understand it—from tricky concepts like cell signaling and genetics to mastering AP-level exam strategies. I take my role as a tutor seriously and approach every session with professionalism, patience, and preparation. I know what it’s like to feel stuck or overwhelmed by the material, and I’m here to change that. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel confident, capable, and genuinely understand what they’re learning. Hey! I’m Naila, an incoming neuroscience major who knows how overwhelming the biology can feel—so I make it make sense. Whether you're just starting biology or deep in AP Biology, I’m here to help you truly understand it, not just cram for the test.
I explain biology in a way that clicks—through simple breakdowns, visuals, analogies, and active conversation. I’m not here to lecture; I’m here to help you understand, ask questions, and feel confident in what you're learning. You won’t just memorize—you’ll actually get it.
A Typical Lesson:
5 min: Quick check-in + topic for the day
20 min: Clear, focused explanation of concepts (with diagrams and analogies)
15 min: Practice questions and review tricky areas
10 min: Recap + personalized tips or next steps
