About Betül
I am a REAL TURKISH TEACHER, a native Turkish speaker, and a university graduate in Turkish Language Teaching. I have experience with Turkish language preparatory courses (TÖMER) at university. I also have a certificate in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. For approximately three and a half years, I have been actively teaching Turkish both online and in classrooms. I teach Turkish to students of all ages and levels, even those who do not speak English, in a simple, fun, and controlled way.

Hello, I'm Betül. I studied Turkish Language Teaching at university, so I'm a real Turkish teacher and I hold a certificate in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. I have three years of experience in this field, including at university-level courses (TÖMER), private courses, and online platforms (like Zoom), and I am actively working. I start my lessons by asking questions, sometimes using texts to help students find grammar. In reading comprehension, I read first, then ask the student to read, and we discuss the reading text. I also conduct listening and writing activities. In short, in my lessons, I emphasize all areas of a language: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. I use the Istanbul University textbook and various websites for teaching, primarily educational games. My lessons are suitable for people of all levels and ages because I have worked with people of all levels and ages, even students who don't know English, and I teach Turkish in a friendly and fun way.
