About May
I have taught children in an informal setting for 3+ years, and am extremely friendly and patient. I always encourage students to ask questions and speak their mind if they feel like they aren't connecting with the content or are having difficulties--I never want a student to end a session feeling frustrated.

I offer lessons for all ages, and will create a personalized curriculum for each student to suit your age, current level of English proficiency, and preferred work style. I always want my lessons to be fun and engaging, as I understand the frustration of sitting through classes that one does not find interesting.
An example lesson plan for a beginner to intermediate speaker can include:
- Teaching new themed vocabulary and reviewing previous words

May has taught my daughter english for the past year and it has helped her so much. May is very kind and patience with my little girl and always makes her feel safe and welcome. Growing up in a mostly spanish speaking household has been difficult in her learning english.
May has taught my son in many subjects including algebra, ela and biology. He has special needs and May is so patient with him. I have also witnessed her gift of teaching when she led bible studies in Sunday school and all the kids loved her.
