About Zoia
I am a rising high school junior, and I have had a passion for languages since I was young. As I traveled to many different countries, I realized I love learning, which led me to becoming a tutor. I currently volunteer for Learn To Be, where I teach multiple students English and Creative Writing. I am fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, and English and am studying Spanish and Korean. I reached fluency in English by just speaking it, which is why I am a firm believer in communication-based learning. My lessons focus on real conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday words that you can use in real life. My goal is to help you become a more confident and independent language learner while making each lesson engaging and enjoyable. Thank you for considering me as your tutor. Hello! I'm a multilingual tutor fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and I love helping students build confidence in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Zoia is an incredible tutor who was able to offer humor and daily conversations into her classes, making me forget I was even learning. With her guidance in some topics I wasn’t sure about she made me improve my English 2x faster than when I would study grammar rules by the text book. I feel happy that she was my tutor as I was unsure of my English and felt embarrassed, but with her support in Russian and communication about things I truly love made me feel welcomed and confident during and outside of the classes.
